SKC sponsors TSV Hannover-Burgdorf since 2018
Solidarity in commitment and social responsibility
There were plenty of Corona-related match cancellations in the past handball season 2020/2021, also the TSV Hannover-Burgdorf had to quarantine the entire team after a player tested positive for the Coronavirus. The Recken played their first test match of the 2020/2021 season with just 500 spectators. At the start of the 2021/2022 season, thanks to coordination with the health authorities of the Hanover region and a further elaborated hygiene concept, 3,500 spectators were able to attend: "Through our proven hygiene concept and the additional integration of the 3-G rule, the increase in the number of spectators compared to June is another step in the right direction in which we all want to go," said Managing Director Eike Korsen. In the recent match in front of the home crowd against MT Melsungen, unfortunately, the team could not win, but nevertheless the Recken showed a great fight.
But TSV Hannover-Burgdorf not only stands for its sporting performance and inspires thousands of fans, social responsibility is also a matter. In promoting exercise and health, the club supports, among others, the diaconal work in Lower Saxony and the German bone marrow donors GmbH (DKMS), but also the association of children with cancer Hannover e.V.
We at SKC also want to improve people's health. In our daily work, we support our clients in bringing innovative drug products to the German market to fight rare and serious diseases and thus improve the health of sick people. We continue to sponsor TSV Hannover-Burgdorf this season and keep our fingers crossed for the next victory and that full handball halls may soon return.
