Interview with Ms. Janina Spottke, human ressources
Ms. Spottke, why is SKC consulting an extremely attractive employer for applicants?
We offer challenging project activities at leading companies and organizations in the health care industry. Complex tasks will give an intensive insight into the dynamic developments and mechanisms of the health care market. At the same time, our employees profit from our close ties to science.
If the following three qualities convince an applicant, then we are the match: challenge, personal development and research.
Challenge: Employees work closely with the client in an interdisciplinary team on top management level. They independently analyze risks and opportunities of the market, design feasible strategies and assist in the internal realization.
Personal Development: The continuous development of our employees is important to us. Mutual learning, supplementary training and the intense interaction with our managing directors quickly turn talents into experts. We are looking for you if you are motivated and committed, ready to get involved from the outset and able to quickly take on responsibility in our young and dynamic company.
Research: Part of our standard of quality regarding our work is always to be up-to-date on current research. Thanks to our international contacts employees build up a broad scientific network. Scientific methods are at the heart of our work.
What do applicants have to bring with them so that they fit in with SKC consulting?
We are looking for colleagues who share our high standard of quality. In order to meet the expectations of the client it is essential to have analytical, conceptual and communicational skills. Above all however we are looking for personalities that discover and create innovatively with an eye for extraordinary details. Hence, career newcomers and lateral hires are very welcome. If you enjoy rising to the challenge and if health economic developments are as interesting to you as to us then you fit perfectly into our team.
Furthermore we expect:
- An outstanding university degree (especially in economics, health economics, pharmacy, medicine, engineering or science), ideally complemented with an MBA or doctorate
- International experience (fluent English and German language skills) )
- Relevant professional experience in consulting or healthcare (does not apply to young professionals)
- Team competence
- Curiosity and humor
Ms. Spottke, what work style is practiced at SKC consulting?
An ordinary daily routine does not exist for advisors. Every project, every task, every client is a new challenge. Of course we work with our reliable set of tools, such as a target group analysis or a market study. Nonetheless, we deal with individual action strategies and open questions every time we start a new project.
For this challenge we need imaginative employees who approach each task with curiosity, courage and enthusiasm. We work in interdisciplinary teams because we believe that creativity emerges from diversity.
