What does the future hold for the German and international healthcare industry? What are the challenges facing the system as such? SKC participated in the search for solutions and was represented by our managing director Prof. Dr. Matthias Schönermark, whose contribution was a speech with the topic "Think Global, Act Local – Hannover's Competitive Edge". It became evident that the challenges in this regard are manifold. To name a few: growing pressure due to prevailing conditions, increased health awareness in the population, a new overall focus, demographic changes and shifting customer needs is what we are facing.
