The statutory health insurance (SHI) Techniker Krankenkasse (TK) was the first among German SHIs, to work with an electronical health file. The TK is the largest statutory health insurance company in Germany, so this was of great advantage for 10 million TK-insured people.  For instance, one benefit is that the insured can retrieve information on their prescription drugs of the last six years through the connection of the digital data safe “TK-Safe” and the TK-app.

Dr. Jens Baas, chairman of the management board of the Techniker Krankenkasse, will present further huge potentials of electronical health files at the Digital Health Summit No. 8.  As Chairman of the Management Board, Baas is responsible for Corporate Development, Finance, Controlling, Information Technology, Brand, Marketing, Politics, Communications and the Board of Directors, Management Board. His focus is working with service providers, the pharmaceutical and medical technology industries.

Dr. Jens Baas is a studied doctor and was previously Chairman of the Board of Management Consulting Boston Consulting Group, most recently as Partner and Managing Director. Don‘t miss out on Dr. Jens Baas' speech about the electronic health file as the core of digital networking on the 13th of June from 1:15 -1:35 PM in hall 26.

As a leading strategy consultancy in the German health care sector, the SKC Beratungsgesellschaft, in cooperation with the Federation of German Industries (BDI) and the CEBIT, presents the Digital Health Summit no. 8. All information about the program can be found here.
