Extreme challenges and strategic solutions in the healthcare economy

On the basis of "disruptive innovations" the strategies and the possible solutions of the challenges that are facing the healthcare sector were presented via livestream by Harvard professor Clayton M. Christensen an international expert in innovations management. During the livestream the possible strategies and solutions were also discussed by the more than 80 participants of the 3rd strategy day. Furthermore new frameworks were presented by speakers from different fields. The talks shed light on the challenges facing the healthcare sector from social and sociological perspectives. In addition, specific approaches of dealing with the challenges of the outpatient and inpatient sectors were discussed. Finally, the possibilities of implementing (innovation) management in the German healthcare system were also discussed.


Top speakers included Prof. Clayton M. Christensen, Harvard-Business School; Prof. Norbert Bolz, TU Berlin; Uwe Bergheim, management consultant; Ingo Kailuweit, at that time the chairman of the board of the KKH alliance.
