Leadership, responsibility and entrepreneurship in the healthcare industry

The fourth Hanover strategy day took place under the auspices of the minister of health at that time Dr. Philipp Rösler, with the focus of entrepreneurial leadership in the health care industry. The comprehensive discussion of several examples of diverse interplay of industry gave room for „outside the box" ideas. The agenda included several topics for discussion including the requirements of a modern entrepreneur, insights into the military leadership approaches as well as political debates on the topic "freedom or state - how much responsibility is possible?". The highlight of the event was the contribution "Mindful Leadership" of Prof. Ellen J. Langer, an international expert of Harvard university.

Top speakers included Prof. Dr. Ellen J. Langer, Harvard University; Oberst i.G. Dieter G. Ohm, Deputy Head of Division I, Human Resources, Internal Leadership and Training, Military Armed Forces Staff within the Federal Ministry of Defense; Martin Kind, Managing Director KIND Group of Companies and Managing Director and President Hanover 96; Dr. Jürgen Peter, Chairman of the Board AOK Niedersachsen.
