The 7th Hanover strategy day took place for the first time in the framework of CeBIT as digital summit „d!conomy Healthcare No.7". The focus of the event was the digitalization of the healthcare sector. The digitalization of the healthcare sector offers great potential and at the same time faces several challenges. The potential and the challenges of healthcare sector digitalization were discussed within the various topics of the strategy day including data security, possible digital health application, the implementation of a digital work environment and the willingness of the industry participants to go through the digital transformation. Speakers from different start-ups like Dr. Alexander Schachinger, Dr. Jama Nateqi as well as Prof. Rosalind W. Picard from MIT illustrated to the participants that the healthcare sector digitalization already arrived and became indispensable and that now the individual has to decide whether to use its full potential.
